Unclear if that's a viable XP strategy (by making more elemental runes) once I run out of my stockpiles vs. I'm at 89 runecrafting so far, and I just switched to using some of my stockpiles of elemental runes (from the runecrafting potion) to make combination runes for more XP. The mastery system for runes allows you to make absolutely obscene amounts of any given rune relatively quickly, so I didn't really bother trying to predict what specific runes I would want to use later.Īfter the update. So at the moment I've crafted enough air runes to make the basic air wizard gear, now I'm making a bunch of mind runes, and once I'm done with that I'm planning on just going and whacking the lowest level enemy that drops amulets I need. Trying to figure out which spells need which types of runes, and I see that spells seem to use two runes and staves now remove the requirement for one of the types of rune but not the other.
